Mount Pleasant Mystery Solved

Thanks to a swift response from the winery in Australia, delivered through Tesco, so thanks to them also, I am now able to clear up the confusion surrounding the labelling of the Hunter Valley Semillon that remains one of my favourite Australian wines, no matter what they call it. For the record it is now labelled as: McWilliam’s Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon 2005. The text of the message reads:

“The 2005 McWilliam's Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon was bottled around six months after harvest and remained unlabelled in our cellars until release. The wine now features the McWilliam's master branding to create consistency with the other wines within the range. The Australian market introduced the McWilliam's branding onto the packaging last year and we are now seeing the new design make its way to the UK [and Irish] market. A parcel was initially released in the UK [and Ireland] with the former design and this may be where the confusion lies. Please rest assured that all future packaging will be consistent with the McWilliam's branding on it.”
